Dec 13, Long Island City Winter Show, opening night, 6 pm – 9 pm.

Reception for a show featuring painters who find inspiration in Long Island City’s industry. Many works are images of an LIC that no longer exists -- the power plant at 5th Street and 51st Avenue, which is now a luxury apartment building; and the old Gantries before they were polished to adorn a waterside park.
