Godspell was created by John-Michael Tebelak as a thesis project after attending Easter Mass in an attempt to make the parables and teachings of the bible fresh and relevant to contemporary audiences. In that tradition, each production is created new, for the audience of that place and time.
Godspell is directed by Joe Annese with musical direction by Frank B. Auriemma and choreography by Hilary Goldman. Lu Petronelli is assistant director. The ensemble cast features Annice Auriemma, David Cronin, Donna Falzon, Anthony Faubion, Caleb Gaillard, Rosalia Gattuso, Regina Lim, Kevin McAuley, Ashley O’Shaughnessy, and Nydia Reid.
Maggie’s Little Theater continues its season in July with a production of Fiddler on the Roof. Please visit the website for dates and audition information.
