MAHAL: Filipino Disaster Relief Showcase

8PM-2AM
$10 Admission at Door 21+

In November 2013 Typhoon Haiyan became one of the most devastating storms in world history, ravaging middle and southern regions of the Philippines with a death toll of 5,260, displacing millions.

MAHAL (the Filipino word for LOVE) is a collaborative showcase presented by ArtForSkins, The Anonymous Art Alliance, Feleciacruz & The MC Media Group with generous efforts and donations from an eclectic artistic community united in a singular mission: to BE & spread love where it is needed most.

Donations will be raised for Fighting for Futures as they team up with All Hands Volunteers' disaster relief efforts on location in the Philippines, assisting residents in reconstructing their communities.

The event will be held on January 4th at Free Candy in Brooklyn from 8PM-2AM with performances beginning at 9PM. Admission is $10 at the door or $8 on Eventbrite for an audience 21+. The evening’s lineup transcends genre, from burlesque to hip hop, including birthday celebrations for artists L.atasha A.lcindor and Adrienne Mack-Davis, with premier release of the latter’s mix tape “Circles and Lines”.
