Bike Rider Hit By SUV

A kid riding his bike was taken to the hospital after getting struck by an SUV at the corner of Woodbine Street and Fresh Pond Road in Ridgewood on Wednesday, August 1.

EDITOR’S NOTE: THE CAUSE OF THE JULY 29 ACCIDENT on the westbound Horace Harding Expressway at Lawrence Street — originally attributed to drag racing by police officers on scene— AS APPEARED IN THE AUGUST 2 EDITION OF THE QUEENS COURIER, IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION.
