The Aman S…ki trio will perform at Queens Theatre in the Park at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 7.

The group “brings Ottoman music straight into the 21st century with a lively blend of rhythms and melodies firmly rooted in the traditions of makam.”

Tickets are $17 or $15 for seniors and $10 for students.

The Shannon Breeze Band

The Shannon Breeze Band will perform an Irish music concert at the Flushing Library at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 8.

Based in New York, the band has been around for 20 years. The members of the group are Kathy Dolan (accordion, mandolin, tin whistle and acoustic guitar), Martin Dolan (keyboards and vocals), Jon Bivona (lead guitar), Mike Todd (bass guitar) and Billy Onesios (drums).

“Addict-Love”
SculptureCenter

“Addict-Love,” a solo exhibition by Tom Burr, will be on display at the SculptureCenter through March 30.

According to the website, “Tom Burr’s work, infused with both wit and melancholy, re-visits some of the central concerns of sculptural practice of the last few decades: site-specificity, monumentalism, appropriation, and theatricality.”

“Wack!: Art and the Feminist Revolution”
P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center

The exhibition “Wack! Art and the Feminist Revolution” will be on display at P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center through May 12.

This is “the first comprehensive, historical exhibition to examine the international foundations and legacy of feminist art.”

There are 120 artists and artist groups that are represented in this exhibit, which focuses on the time period of 1965 to 1980. Among the countries included are the United States, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, Asia, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
