“Anne of Green Gables”

The musical “Anne of Green Gables” will be performed at Flushing Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 28 and at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 29.

Based on the book by Lucy Maud Montgomery, the show’s book and lyrics are by Nancy Ford with music by Gretchen Cryer.

Tickets are $15 or $12 for children and members and $10 for member children.

E Phoenix Idealis Theater Inc. will perform the play “Tea” On Friday, March 28, Saturday, March 29, Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5.

The award-winning play was written by Velina Hasu Houston and is about Japanese war brides during World War Two.

Performances of “Tea” will take place at the Poppenhusen Institute, located at 114-04 14th Road in College Point.

Showtimes are 8 p.m. on Fridays and 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturdays.

“Music of Celtic Spain”
Broadway Library

“Music of Celtic Spain with Grupo de Gaita Terra Nosa” will take place at the Broadway Library at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 29.

The concert will celebrate the culture of Galicia, which includes the Gaita, or Spanish bagpipes.

The Buglisi Dance Company will perform at the LaGuardia Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 4.

By “using images, literature, poetry, heroic archetypes and a consuming physicality these Martha Graham-trained choreographers and dancers are creating a new template for modern dance.”

Tickets for the show are $15 or $10 for students.
