Queens Theatre in the Park Fri., June 13 and Sat., June 14 The annual Latino International Theater Festival of New York, TeatroStageFest, will make its Queens debut with the production “Mujeres En La Guerra (Women in War),” which opened on June 12 and will have performances on June 13 and 14. The play has been adapted from a book by journalist Patricia Lara. It stars Carlota Llano and is being directed by Fernando Montes. The show will be in Spanish with English super-titles. There will be performances at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14. Tickets are $25 or $15 for students and seniors. Queens Theatre in the Park is located in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. Corona Plaza Street Festival Queens Museum of Art Saturday, June 14 The Queens Museum of Art will hold the offsite event Corona Plaza Street Festival from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 14. The event will take place at 103rd Street at the No. 7 train station. The festival will include live music, dancing, art-making workshops, giveaways, free health evaluations, health insurance sign-up and immigrant services. Fathers Day Dance New York Metropolitan Country Music Association Saturday, June 14 The New York Metropolitan Country Music Association will have a Fathers Day Dance on Saturday, June 14 in Glendale. The dance will feature the Neil Scott Johnson Band. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the band will start at 8 p.m. The dance is for adults only. Tickets are $12 a person or $10 for association members. It will take place at the Glendale Memorial Building, located at 72-02 Myrtle Avenue.
