Irishfest in Broad ChannelPHOTOS BY PETER BORRIELLO
The first annual Irish festival in Broad Channel was held on Saturday, August 16. Sponsored by local politicians and businesses, the event had musicians, singers and bands performing. Local vendors also came to sell various Irish wares as well as food. The highlight of this year’s festival was the band Black 47. The funds raised benefitted the Broad Channel Athletic Club. |
