Queensboro Bridge’s 100th Anniversary Bash

The LaGaurdia Performing Arts Center will hold its Queensboro Bridge’s 100th Anniversary Bash at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 6.

The dance performance will feature the companies Graham II and Mad About Dance. They will revive Martha Graham’s “Panorama.”

There will also be a reception.

The event is free and open to the public.

LaGaurdia Performing Arts Center’s Main Stage is located at 47th Avenue and Van Dam Street in Long Island City. For more information, call 718-482-5151.

Cantamerica

Jackson Heights Library

Saturday, June 6


Cantamerica will take place at the Jackson Heights Library at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 6.

The performance will feature Mario Rodriguez, who will be joined by other musicians as well. It will include music and songs from Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Latin America.

Taylor Brown

The Noguchi Museum

Sunday, June 14


As part of its Summer Music in the Garden series, The Noguchi Museum will host a performance will Taylor Brown at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 14.

Brown is a graduate of Vassar College. He has a degree in classical guitar performance.

The performance will be held in the museum’s sculpture garden.
