102nd PRECINCT

Attempted sexual assault in Forest Park

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect wanted in connection with an attempted sexual assault on Tuesday ,June 2.




The incident happened inside of Forest Park, in the vicinity of Myrtle Avenue and Forest Park Drive. Police say a 60-year-old woman was walking in the park when the suspect grabbed her from behind, dragged her to the ground and attempted to sexually assault her.

The victim screamed and fought with the suspect, who then fled the scene. The victim sustained a minor scratch to her chin and refused medical attention.

The suspect is described as a man in his 30s with a dark complexion. He is approximately 5'6" to 5'7" tall, 150 pounds. He was wearing a green jacket and dark pants.

106th PRECINCT

Armed robber made off with $3,000 in cash

A male robber got away with $3,000, according to police, after an armed holdup.

The incident occurred on June 5 at 77th Street and 156th Avenue. Cops say the perp got in through a front door, displayed a firearm, and made off with the cash. He is described as 6’2.”

Help cops nab bank robber

The NYPD is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect wanted in connection with a number of bank robberies that occurred in the confines of the 106th and the 104th Precincts.

On Tuesday, June 2, inside of the Capital One Bank at 83-24 Woodhaven Boulevard, the suspect entered the location, approached a teller and demanded cash. The suspect then fled the bank with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect is described as approximately 6'2", 200 pounds, light complexion, medium build. He was wearing a blue NYPD baseball cap, blue long-sleeve button-up denim shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and silver mirror sunglasses.

On Friday, June 5, inside of the Chase Bank at 96-19 101st Avenue, the suspect entered the location, approached a teller and demanded cash. The suspect is described as 6'0", light complexion, black hair, black baseball cap, blue jeans, black/team type jacket.

107th PRECINCT

Two found shoot to death

A 46-year-old man and 45-year-old woman were discovered with gunshot wounds to the head on Saturday, June 6 inside 87-7 Van Wyck Expressway. EMS also responded to the scene and declared both people dead. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. Identities of the victims are pending.

108th PRECINCT

Man found dead

On Wednesday, June 3, at 34th Avenue between 69th and 65th Streets, police responded to a 9-1-1 call of an unconscious and unresponsive man. EMS responded and pronounced the 59-year-old dead at the scene. There were no signs of criminality and a medical examiner will determine a cause of death. An investigation is ongoing.

109th PRECINCT

21-year-old shot in the head dies

Police responded to a call of a man shot on June 4 at 122-11 9th Avenue.

Upon their arrival, cops discovered the 21-year-old with a gunshot wound to the head. He was removed to New York Hospital Queens (NYHQ), where he died from his injuries. An investigation is ongoing.

Investigate DOA

On Saturday, June 6, police responded to a 9-1-1 call at Barclay Avenue and 147th Street.

Upon their arrival, responding officers discovered an unidentified man in his 30s unconscious and unresponsive. EMS also responded to the scene and declared the male dead.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing.
