Wanted for robbery

Wednesday, June 10, 2009 2:37 PM EDT
The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for a robbery within the confines of the 104 Precinct.

On Sunday, May 24 a 36-year-old woman was exiting the subway station at Wycoff Avenue and George Street through the hi-wheel exit when the suspect, armed with a screwdriver, grabbed the bars of the hi-whee, effectively trapping the victim inside. The suspect then took the victim's property and fled in an unknown direction.

He is described as between 40 and 45 years old, six feet tall.

Anyone with information in regards to this robbery is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
