Fatal accident leaves one dead

A vehicle accident at North Conduit Avenue and 78th Street on Friday, November 6 left one person dead.

Police say that the first vehicle, a 1996 Dodge traveling westbound on North Conduit Avenue, collided with a 2007 Honda. The Dodge then struck a pole at the location, ejecting a 67-year-old female passenger, who was later pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital




The 50-year-old driver was in stable condition at Jamaica Hospital; and a 46-year-old woman also in the car was in stable condition.

The driver of the Honda, a 25-year-old man, was taken to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.
