HSBC teaches banking to youngstersThirty volunteers from HSBC Bank participated in the “JA-in-a-Day” event at P.S. 212 in Jackson Heights, delivering an entire Junior Achievement program in the course of one school day.
Junior Achievement programs teach students from kindergarten through 12th grade about work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. HSBC Bank volunteer Mike Kid taught “JA More Than Money,” a program focused on basic economic concepts to third graders. |
