North Shore Towers Children’s Holiday Show

In celebration of the December holidays, children attended a holiday party in the VIP Room of the Country Club on Sunday, December 14. Along with being treated to a show that gave the kids a chance to sing, dance, and learn more about the holidays, they got to see Santa.

Details of 2009 Budget Announced
The North Shore Towers Board of Directors held an open meeting on Wednesday, December 3 to discuss the cooperative’s 2009 budget, which will include a maintenance increase and assessment.

Harmonica Duo Entertains Residents
The Harmonica Duo performed for North Shore Towers residents on December 10. The harmonica players were husband and wife duo Jia-Yi He and Liping Wang. They were also joined by their daughter, Jenny He, who played the piano and danced.

Diabetes & Hearing Loss
Audiologists at the Advanced Hearing Center, which has an office in the arcade level of Building Three at North Shore Towers, is educating people about diabetes and the relation it has to hearing loss.

    Life Insurance Trusts - Estate Tax Relief
    Individuals whose estates exceed the estate tax exemption often purchase life insurance, which can be used to pay the estate taxes due on their respective estates. The current federal exemption is $2,000,000, until January 1, 2009, when it will increase to $3,500,000. In 2010, the federal estate tax will be repealed in its entirety only to be reinstated in the year 2011.
